Meteorology
In the text box at the top, the weather situation is
briefly described (in English).
When CB (Cumulonimbus clouds) is forecasted,
the symbols for ice and turbulence will not be
shown.
You should know that CB clouds can cause
severe turbulence and intense icing, as
well as heavy hail showers (this is also
stated at the bottom left of the chart).
Amount of CB
ISOL CB Up to 50% of the area covered
OCNL CB 50-75% of the area covered
FRQ CB More than 75% of the area covered
