                 4.10.1.5     Departure clearance


                 It is now time for departure clearance.


                              O-TZ after departure right turn, leave CTR via Borup altitude 1500

                              feet or below for a VFR Flight to Stauning SQUAWK 4231




                 That was the departure clearance we received.

                 Note that it says after “departure” - not after “takeoff”.





                 We acknowledge the message by read back:

                                        After departure right turn, leaving CTR via Borup 1500 ft or

                                        below Squawk 4231 O-TZ





                 4.10.1.6     Taxi clearance for entering the runway

                 Note that even though you've received departure instructions, you still don't

                 have clearance to taxi onto the runway!


                 You now receive the clearance:

                                O-TZ behind landing Piper Cherokee RWY 21 – line up behind and

                                wait


                                  Note the wording of this conditional clearance. You should read
                                  these back in the same order as you receive them.

                 4.10.1.7     Clearance for take-off



                              O-TZ wind 220 degrees 8 kt. RWY 21 cleared for Take-off


                              Please note that the phrases " cleared" may only be used for clearance
                              to take off, clearance to land and clearances regarding flight paths.
