Increasing Family’s Support To Improve Self Care Among Coronary Heart
Disease Patients: A Participatory Action Research

INTRODUCTION
Patients with Coronary Heart Disease (CHD) are expected to
manage their condition actively, continuously dan most of the time
require various changes in individual and family routines. Patients
and their families need to adjust the disease management and
routines to maintain patients wellness.This study aims to explore the
challenges encountered while ensuring self-care among CHD
patients, from their families and health care providers’ points of
view. Based on this information, a model will be developed to guide

METHODS CONCLUSION
This study is a part of participatory action research, which consists
