For example, the Hakama, that typical costume that forms
part of the samurai’s clothing, contains 7 folds, five forward
and two back. Also Bushido, the code of conduct of the samu-
rai, also consists of 7 steps:

Yuki = courage, courage

Jin = humanity, charity, benevolence

Gi = justice, righteousness, integrity

Rei = label, courtesy, civility (also means reverence /
pay tribute to someone)

Makoto = sincerity, honesty, reality

Chugi = loyalty, fidelity, devotion

Meiyo = honor, credit, glory; Also reputation, dignity,
prestige

As you can see even clothing was a constant reminder of the
teachings of your school, your ideals and behavioral rules.

Friend, if you are a student of some style of martial

art, my greatest desire is that you seek, that you

do not get tired of going down to the depths of the

ocean of knowledge, because only there you will find

the pearls that everyone persue but only the most

tenacious will find.
