George Foreman
challenges Steven
Seagal to fight
“I THOUGHT THIS WAS A GRAND OPPORTUNITY AFTER MAYWEATHER FOUGHT MC-
GREGOR FOR TWO GUYS SIMILAR IN AGES AND BOTH ABLE TO STILL FIGHT, TO PUT
ON A BOXING MATCH. I CAN BOX. WE CAN USE THAT ENTER THE DRAGON FORMAT
WHERE YOU STAND THERE AND ONE GUY DOES WHAT HE DOES AND THE OTHER GUY
CAN’T RUN OR ANYTHING. LETS STAND UP AND FIGHT. I CHALLENGE HIM BECAUSE
HE’S STILL ACTIVE. HE’S ACTIVE.”
Via his Twitter account, boxing great George Foreman has challenged martial arts actor Steven
Seagal to an open-rules, hand-to-hand brawl in Las Vegas.
“I use boxing you can use whatever. 10 rounds in Vegas,” the former two time heavyweight bo-
xing champion wrote, attaching a photo of Seagal.
When fans asked Foreman on Twitter why he wanted to fight Seagal, Foreman replied that the
martial artist “really can fight” and is big enough to defend himself. Foreman first won the hea-
vyweight title in 1973 and again in 1994.
Seagal hasn’t yet responded to Foreman’s offer.
