Need for Effective Follow Through Systems in ISM
Through creating a systematic understanding of the existing gaps in ISM, a dire need
for effective feedback systems that ensure follow-through is evident in the urban Indian
context across ISM practices. Lacking systems of trust, long timelines for healing and
the need for major lifestyle changes as part of ISM treatment serve as the factors that
propagate this cycle. Effective tracking of the user’s health, effective communication
with the ISM practitioner, follow-through support made relevant to the urban lifestyle
and peer-to-peer support could possibly be opportunities to explore so as to help
bridge this gap.
