Trickling Filters
Trickling Filters can operate in 2 modes; in Parallel and, in Series.
In parallel operation, Trickling Filters are aligned so each of the Filters accepts a
balanced portion of incoming flow.
The Operator would need to ensure hydraulic balance. This mode of operation
offers only one stage of treatment. Recirculation is the only process optimization
option.
Operating in parallel can be a good option when receiving high influent flow.
