HYPEREMIA Same patient, normal appearance. There was absence of hyperemia
most of the time at home, and hyperemia was not present in the veterinary hospital.
Subsequently, fine-needle aspiration of a subcutaneous mass was consistent with
mast cell tumor, and surgical excision of the mass led to complete resolution of
