Summer Getaway to Italy!

Proposed Day-by-Day Itinerary:

Day 1: Benvenuti in Italia! Upon arrival to Rome Fiumicino International Airport, private
transfer 50 min to your accommodations. Arrival mid-morning to your hotel. Drop your bags at
hotel reception (we will request an early check in and it will be granted based on availability)
and meet Daniela, your Rome guide, for a 3-4 hr private, guided tour of Ancient Rome to
include the Colosseum and Catacombs. We’ve specified a separate driver. You will visit the
Colosseum, which had a capacity of 50,000 spectators, and learn about sport during Roman
times, including plenty of commentary on the life and times of Roman gladiators. You will also
admire Constantine’s Arch, one of the triumphal arches of Ancient Rome.
