Proposed Accommodations for 2 Nights: Piersland House Hotel. Featuring glorious gardens,
Piersland is a lovely country house perfectly placed on the edge of Royal Troon, looking out to the
ocean. See the end of this document for full profiles of proposed accommodations.

Day 2: Prestwick for the Gents and Ayrshire Touring for the Ladies. The Gents will private
transfer 10 min to Prestwick this morning. Prestwick is perhaps best known as home of the very first
Open Championship. As such, it is considered one of the most historic golf courses in the land. See
the end of this document for full golf course profiles.

We suggest the Ladies enjoy time in the countryside this morning on the numerous walking paths
leading from the hotel (the concierge can provide maps of the trails with varying difficulty levels).
There are fine walking options available directly from Troon. In the afternoon, the Ladies will enjoy
a half-day excursion with one of our knowledgeable blue badge guides (guide availability is pending
confirmation) up the coast to experience not only the lovely coastal scenery of Ayrshire, but also the
region’s rich heritage and culture. The tour will be customized to your preferences, but our favorite

create the finest Georgian castle in
Scotland, and he most certainly
was up to the task with Culzean
Castle and Gardens. Culzean is
the former home of the Marquess
of Ailsa, the chief of Clan
Kennedy, and is well known for
its dramatic, clifftop setting
overlooking the sea. It is quite
lovely, and you will be certain to
appreciate the beautiful gardens
that are a highlight for many.
