Scotland’s most celebrated poet, Robert Burns.
• The Burns Birthplace Museum in the village of Alloway comprises the famous
Burns cottage and gardens.

• Crossraguel Abbey ruins was founded in the 13 century and is still complete with
the original monks’ church, their cloister and even their dovecote (pigeon tower).

Day 3: Royal Troon and on to St Andrews. We will target an early tee-time today for the Gents
on the seaside links at Royal Troon, a challenge for even the best golfers in the world!
For the Ladies, consider taking a 5 min taxi ride into the town of Troon. Overlooking the Isle of
Arran and Ailsa Craig, Troon boasts stunning, sandy beaches with magnificent views and the
esplanade is ideal for walking.
There are also a number of charming cafés, as well as a range of unique boutiques and shops.
Following lunch, we will arrange for a private group transfer 3 hrs to St. Andrews on Scotland’s East
