Gaudi (1852-1926), the famed architect best
known for his distinctive style, which was
greatly influenced by forms of nature. Gaudi was
the chief figure in the Modernist movement.
During this 4-hr, private guided tour (which will
                                                              include a separate
driver), you will visit Gaudi’s most famous work, the Sagrada
Familia temple, which was consecrated by Pope Benedict in 2010
and is still under construction more than 100 years after building
began. Gaudi devoted 44 years of his life to this single structure
and it is one of the symbols of the city. It’s simply fascinating.

You will also spend time at Casa Batllo, an impressive building in
the center of Barcelona that was redesigned by Gaudi in 1904. The
Modernist designer saved the structure from being torn down in its
then-state of disrepair. As with all of Gaudi’s works, Casa Batllo is
an imaginative blend of shapes and design, featuring oval
windows, sculpted stonework, colorful ceramic tile mosaics and an
               arched roof.

And, finally, you will visit Gaudi’s La Pedrera (also known as Casa Mila), located on the Passeig
de Gracia. This structure was built in the early twentieth century to house apartments and
commercial offices. Admission to Sagrada Familia, Casa Batllo and La Pedrera is included.
