Proposed Day-By-Day Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Wine Country. Arrive at SFO and collect your rental car. Drive
approximately 1 hr 30 min to Yountville, located in the heart of wine country. En route, you
might wish to make a stop in Sausalito for a late lunch at Murray Circle or at the Muir Woods
National Monument, a beautiful national park, home to ancient Redwood trees and fantastic
hiking trails. The park is just 40 min outside of San Francisco. Once you arrive in Yountville,
settle in at your accommodations and enjoy the balance of the day at leisure. Given your early
arrival time, you might check out the W.H. Smith tasting room in Calistoga.
