See profiles of proposed wineries on pages 6–9. Your driver will leave you off at your
accommodations at the end of the day. Evening at leisure.

Day 3: The Sonoma Coast and a…Mud Bath? Consider beginning your day with a self-
driving tour of the beautiful Sonoma
Coast, perhaps ending up in Bodega Bay
for lunch. This is about 1 hr 30 min from
               your accommodations and is absolutely
               well-worth the drive! Alternatively, you
               might visit the Armstrong Redwood
Preserve, also in Sonoma, to see the BIG
               trees.

For a unique relaxation experience later this afternoon, we’ve arranged for a modern-day spin on
the traditional Calistoga mud bath at the luxurious spa at Solage, a leading Napa Valley resort.
Native Americans frequented the thermal springs in the Calistoga area and tourists started
visiting when the first resort was built in the area in the 1860s. Native Americans used a mixture
of thermal waters and soil based on volcanic ash from eruptions some 10,000 years ago to create
mud baths to treat aches and pains. We’ve included the 60-min Solage Signature Mudslide. This
is a three-part detoxifying treatment: “the mud,” “the waters,” and “the rest.” The mineral-rich
mud is customized with your choice of pure essential oils to achieve your desired results. Once
your mud has been applied, you’ll relax either in a heated “mud lounge” or bask in the sun as the
natural concoction works its magic. Next, move on to a soaking tub with healing geothermal
mineral waters, then complete your experience with a rest in a state-of-the-art relaxation chair,
complete with music and soothing vibrations. Enjoy!
