The school selects applicants for entry throughout the year by maintaining a continuous selection process.
The Selection Committees I, II, and III review and consider each completed applicant file on an
individual basis after all required application materials are received. The committees act throughout the
calendar year to select applicants for first-time entry and reentry.

The Selection I Committee reviews the Traditional Track and the Traditional Track + Gen. Ed. Prep
applicant files; the Selection II Committee reviews the Accelerated Track for LPN/LPTN and Certified
Paramedics applicant files, and Selection III reviews reentry and transfer applicant files.

The selection process includes a thorough review of the completed applicant file. Each applicant is scored
according to established criteria reflected on the Applicant Rating Form. If a qualified applicant is not
included in the selected class number, alternate status may be assigned.
