The King of Beers & Guns N’ Roses

Duff McKagan has sold over 100 million albums, and ushered in a new
generation of hard rock fans as a founding member of Guns N' Roses

and Velvet Revolver. Today, he’s still a professional musician, playing
and touring with Loaded and occasionally with super-group Velvet

Revolver. But he’s also an avid cyclist, marathon runner, jiu-jitsu expert,

and devoted husband and father of two.

Born (Seattle, February 5, 1964) Michael Andrew

writer. He is best known for his twelve-year

tenure as the bass player of the hard rock

band Guns N' Roses and one of rock's

                                                 foremost hell-raisers.

In his autobiography, It's So Easy (And Other

                                                 Lies). he writes:

"When Guns N' Roses began to break into the public consciousness, I

was known as a big drinker. In 1988, MTV aired a concert in which Axl

introduced me - as usual - as Duff 'The King of Beers' McKagan.
