The King of Beers & Guns N’ Roses
Duff McKagan has sold over 100 million albums, and ushered in a new
generation of hard rock fans as a founding member of Guns N' Roses
and Velvet Revolver. Today, he’s still a professional musician, playing
and touring with Loaded and occasionally with super-group Velvet
Revolver. But he’s also an avid cyclist, marathon runner, jiu-jitsu expert,
and devoted husband and father of two.

"Duff" McKagan is an American musician and
writer. He is best known for his twelve-year
tenure as the bass player of the hard rock
band Guns N' Roses and one of rock's
foremost hell-raisers.
In his autobiography, It's So Easy (And Other
Lies). he writes:
"When Guns N' Roses began to break into the public consciousness, I
was known as a big drinker. In 1988, MTV aired a concert in which Axl
introduced me - as usual - as Duff 'The King of Beers' McKagan.
