However, Drambuie achieved a pre-tax profit of £4.4 million
in the year to 30 June 2006, having made a loss of £850,000
the previous year. One-off exceptional profits from
disposals and a strategic reduction in the levels of mature
whisky stocks all contributed to this pre-tax profit. At core
operating level, the company made a profit of £1.9m., a
major turnaround from the loss of more than £850,000 the
previous year.
