Interaction with Mrs. Mala Kumar
A skit by the students of Parikrama school
Pledging to Read
Known for its tradition of always encouraging students to learn beyond books, the
school in association with Scholastics had organised a story telling session for students.
The guest writer Mrs. Mala Kumar mesmerised the students with her stories. Students
from Parikrama school performed a short skit “The cat and the traveller” written by
their Principal. The skit highlighted the importance of rules to be followed while
travelling in a train with pets. It was indeed a great learning experience for students
and teachers.
Kindle — Read to Lead
Having strongly believed in the tradition of
learning beyond classroom , Delhi Public School
Bangalore, North in association with Amazon
conducted a competition beyond classroom reading.
The event was for the primary , middle and
secondary segment. Amazon introduced to the
students who love reading, a popular e-reading
device known as “Kindle - Read to Lead”.
“Read to Lead” exposed children to the benefits of
reading, earning them recognition and a feeling of
self-worth. The programme also motivated the
students to improve their presentation and public
speaking skills, which are crucial for overall
development. Children thoroughly enjoyed every A student enjoying the Kindle
bit of their reading experience. Reading Programme
