A visit by Mr Garry Joseph, Full Bright scholar

Mr Garry Joseph, science teacher from Los

Angeles Unified school ( a Full Bright scholar)
visited DPSBN on 20 and 21 February 2017.

During his stay with us he visited Maths , Social
Studies , Computer Science and Science

departments and interacted with the teachers.

He observed a few science classes where technology

based teaching and hands on activities (yard stick )
were happening and also conducted a class for Mr.Garry interacting with the
students to show how he uses technology in his students

school.

During his interaction with class 5, 6 and 7

students , he spoke about how science is involved in
each aspect of our day to day life. He asked children

to prepare short videos of their inventions and send
them to him. They were also asked to prepare a list

of things they want to do, career goals etc. He also
advised them on how to handle failure.
