LEDIA what else?... NUVOGO!
We are happy with our LEDIA, we are thinking to buy another one, but we don’t like one of the features - the single drawer...and the robot for automatic handling as an upgrade.
Early October, I was invited by Orbotech for a roadshow at Elekonta, a great PCB manufacturer near Stuttgart. I saw there the new Direct Image NUVOGO at work... so easy, so fast, so powerful, so expensive... always too many zeros...no way to compare with our old DP-100.
A big question mark arose - which is the best LEDIA or NUVOGO?
After 2 weeks we were in Jena for a field test. Someone was so excited the baggage in the car was forgotten and he only noticed the problem when sitting in the aircraft...
After 4 weeks we were waiting our NUVOGO 800!

Yes, in the same room, side by side, LED vs Laser, single drawer vs double drawer, and everybody asks the same question: ‘’Which system is the best?’’
The answer is “We don’t know”
There is not really a winner - both systems are doing the job well, both are top quality, state of the art systems in LDI, but as with F1 cars, every race is a challenge and every circuit has different characteristics more suitable for one of the cars. Some need changes in the cars.... and the season in still open!
So today we are mostly even-handed in our assessment, but we could maybe give you some hints in choosing the right system for your purpose.
