Caterpillar Stings by Month
Many caterpillar stings can occur on the back of necks when caterpillars drop out of trees or
when children pick them up because they look interesting or soft.
Snakebites by Month
Snakes are cold-blooded so they do not come out when
it is cold. Therefore, the timing of snakebites varies each
year depending on when the temperature becomes
consistently warmer or colder.
