PLEASE CONTACT YOUR COUNCIL MEMBERS!

When I received the letter of concern from a select group of Trinity members regarding per-

ceived incomplete information sent out by Council, my dander was raised. As Council Presi-
dent, I was concerned about the information presented. Immediately, I emailed Mary Nuss

and Karen Butler to attend a ZOOM meeting to answer questions and clarifications. I asked
them to invite any of the 20 signers of the document that was sent to all members of the

congregation. After I sent the notice to Mary and Karen, I let Sharon know what I was doing
and then also let Council know. Wed., July 22 at 7:00 twelve of the signers along with Sharon

Beksel and Michelle Chatfield joined me in that ZOOM. I started with a prayer for unity and

for listening to understand. Knowing we all care for Trinity, my intent was to come to some
sort of compromise enabling us to work together. I called for the meeting. I led the meeting

adding information to clarify the group’s stated facts. After an hour I adjourned the meeting
and now I mourn for Trinity’s future.

NO ONE WANTS TO SELL THE CHURCH BUILDING AND IT CERTAINLY WILL NOT
BE SOLD IN AN UNDERHANDED MANNER! Trust your Council!

Please start thinking of the members of Trinity as the Body of Christ rather than the brick and

mortar building holding people together. The history provided in the letter supports that as a
Body of Christ, focusing on what He wants us to do, we can move forward.
