Back to school crafts

Faith Folders

Needed: 2 plain pocket folders, stickers, markers, glitter, glue
and family summer photos

Have kids decorate the folders. Add family photos from summer activities.

Add faith messages such as “God Rocks” and “Jesus is my hero”.

Backpack Tags

Needed: cookie cutters, craft foam, colored cable ties, pencils, scissors,
markers and a hole punch

Trace cookie cutter shapes on the craft foam and cut out. Print the name of
your school on the back. On the front write your favorite Bible verse or Chris-
tian phrase to share your love for Jesus. Punch a hole at the top and use the col-
ored cable tie to attach to your backpack.

Masterpiece Magnets-Display kids artwork!

Needed: spring type clothespins, foam shapes, markers, glue, magnet strips,
ribbon, glitter glue or sequins

Attach magnet strip to the back of the clothespin. Write “I am God’s master-
piece” on the foamie shape. Glue foamie shape to the front of clothespin and
decorate with the glitter and sequins. Hang that beautiful artwork!
