Rally Day

Rally Day is such a special day in our Education program that we had 2 special
Sunday’s to experience it. The theme was Creation using the book of Genesis. On

September 16 the kids learned about days 1 through 3 and then on September

23 they learned days 4-7 and the wondrous things that God had created.

Here is a fun snack that we made to celebrate God’s creation!

CREATION SNACK MIX

DAY 1-GOD CREATED THE LIGHT AND DARK (MINI OREOS)

DAY 2-GOD SEPARATED THE WATER ON THE TOP FROM THE WATER ON
THE BOTTOM. THE TOP WAS SKY, THE BOTTOM WAS GROUND (FROSTED

MINI WHEATS)

DAY 3-GOD MADE GREEN GRASS, THE TREES, AND THE FLOWERS (GREEN
M&M’S, STICK PRETZELS AND RED M&M’S) GOD ALSO MADE THE FRUIT AND
BERRIES (RAISINS AND BLUE M&M’S)

DAY 4-GOD CREATED THE SUN, MOON AND STARS (ORANGE AND YELLOW
M&M’S)

DAY 5-GOD MADE THE BIRDS AND FISH (GOLDFISH CRACKERS)

DAY 6-GOD MADE MAN AND WOMAN AND ALL THE ANIMALS THAT WALK
ON THE GROUND (ANIMAL COOKIES)

DAY 7-GOD RESTED ON THE SEVENTH DAY (MARSHMALLOW “PILLOWS”).

GOD BLESSED THE 7 DAY AND MADE IT HOLY.
GOD LOOKED AT EVERYTHING HE MADE AND SAID “THAT LOOKS GOOD!”

Autumn is here and that means time for the fall Harvest Party!

The festivities will be held October 28
at 10:00 during the Sunday school hour. The kids are

more than welcome to wear their costumes, but please

keep them a style that is appropriate for Sunday school.
