5.7 Month End: Update Depreciation (Confirm the DP Value)

- To calculate the depreciation, the data will be sent to the Month End function.
You must click “Update” to make your information up-to-date. This function will allow you to update
the information once a month only. As you have updated your information and you unexpectedly
click to close the function, no numerical data will be shown. To view the numbers, you are required to
close GL only. After clicking to update, there will be an alert message showing up to complete the
requirements, otherwise no information can be edited after proceeding beyond this step. If you forget
to update, you can click “No” and go to “Backup -> Utility -> Backup Database”. If you already click
“Yes” during the calculation, you will not need to proceed with the backup again when reaching the
Month End step.

- As you click “Yes”, the following message will appear. This means that you
are not allowed to access any other program or function when the system is updating the information.
It is very necessary to let the program run until completion before accessing other programs.
Accessing other programs may cause an error to the function. Click “OK” when the function has
completed its update of information.
