7.2.9 Estimated DP Report
You can print out the Estimated DP Report by clicking “Report ->
Asset Report -> Estimated DP Report” starting from 01/01/1900 to the end of a particular year. For
example, you select 31/12/2016 as the service date to run the estimation of DP. Some users, for
instance, may want to calculate the DP for 3 years in advance, from 01/01/2017 to 31/12/2019, but the
system is closed until 31/12/2016. This is incorrect as the report will show no information at all. You
are suggested to focus on the end of that particular year and click to print out the report.
“From” is required to be 01/01/1900 and “To” will be a particular date/month/year, not a period
you want to run the report in advance.
After that, there will be Parameter showing for you to select Report
Group by Monthly by considering Detail, Summary, or Yearly. The report will be grouped by Asset
Account and Cost Center. For example, as the G/L is currently closed on 31/12/2016, you are allowed
to run the estimation of DP by 3 years in advance only (from 2017 to 2019).
