         PROPOSED AMENDMENTS TO ASSOCIATION POLICY
 Motion 13: Equivalence with Public Sector
As a consequence of the continued inadequacy of Defence Forces position in the state’s industrial relations, and in recognition of Government’s forced early retirement ages for military personnel, members should not be disadvantaged in national pay agreements relative to other uniformed personnel or public servants in securing the range and quantum of side-deals.

Where proportionate representation is not required by the Association’s constitution, the National Executive is authorised to introduce electron balloting systems of members to determine their acceptance or otherwise of matters that come within the scope of representation.
