In order to carry out all the tasks assigned to it by Government and defend the State in it’s aid to the civil power or authority roll, RACO seeks the re-establishment and resourcing of a third regionally based, All-Arms Brigade.

Motion 9: Adjustment of DFR CS.4 / ECF
The Defence Force organisational structure (DFR CS.4 / Employment Control Framework) should be adjusted in recognition of the actual full-time appointments and to take account of officers on career courses, leave of absences, secondments and the number of junior officers serving overseas to ensure appropriate manning levels in operational units.
