The father got custody, on and off. The

children were depressed and hungry. They

stashed weapons in different parts of the
house, for protection, in case the father

would “lose it.”

As teenagers, they ran away, twice.

The second time, I was arrested, as was my

23-year old daughter, who was protecting
her siblings. She spent four days in jail, which

destroyed her career.

My 15-year old was taken out of her room by
a US Marshall, at gunpoint, for having run

away from her abusive father.

I spent six months in
maximum security,
with murderers and

drug dealers, accused
