Is there a silver lining in these experiences?

First, I am no longer a Pollyanna, believing

that loving thoughts are enough to make the
world a magnificent place, or that positive

thinking attracts positive experiences.

I lived with rose-colored glasses for many
years, until I experienced evil and darkness.

Some people are simply wired differently,
and thrive on lust, greed and the suffering of

others.
