INTRODUCTION
Scripture References: “Cornelius! ...your prayers and alms
have ascended as a memorial before God” (Acts 10:3–4).
“Another angel came and stood at the altar, holding a golden
censer; and much incense was given to him, so that he might
add it to the prayers of all the saints on the golden altar
which was before the throne. And the smoke of the incense,
with the prayers of the saints, went up before God out of the
angel’s hand” (Revelation 8:3-4).

Over the past many years, God has regularly spoken to
me and encouraged me to become a man of prayer who
implicitly depends on Him.
There are many reasons that we as believers may not
spend the time that we would like to, in prayer. Most
times we blame it on our busy schedules and the details
of life. However, if we were to get really honest we would
discover that the deeper reason might be something else
- a lack of believing in what God has promised, concerning
persistent prayer; a lack of faith that God alone can do for
us what He has promised to do. I believe that this message
will encourage you to keep praying fervently over every
situation and not become disheartened if you do not see
the answers immediately.
