Started by me before I left Delhi to bring the family was half way

was required the department without exposing me to mechanized
sorting in vogue in the West depended more on my verbiage and
writing skill! Training Undergone by me in Administrative Staff
College in Hyderabad came to my rescue in working out discounted
cash flow analysis in the proposal to justify a sorting machine for
Airport Sorting office in Bombay.

Some of my experiences in the directorate convinced me that
opportunities in advancement of one’s career more depended on
one’s ability to adopt servitude as way of life and adopt thick skin to
bear onslaught on one’s self respect. For, one Assistant Director
General whose main strength was his relationship with Finance
Secretary whose privilege it was to sanction a delegation to the USA,
bargained with his boss to include his name as well in the component
of the delegation so that he would ensure the trip was sanctioned ;
Moreover he proved his worth as part of the team by assisting the
head of the delegation in carrying souvenirs and other articles
acquired by the latter!
