Though overconfidence,bad judgement, and excessive

generosity are indeed some of the possible negative
effects of Jupiter, it is not the full extent of its potential

for negative situations, personality traits, and

experiences. As a person who has experienced the
bad side of Jupiter, as well as the good side of Saturn,

many times, I can tell you that this idea that Jupiter can

do no wrong that is often encountered, is inaccurate to
say the least. The first thing that must be stressed is

that you cannot evaluate the effects of a transiting or
progressed planet without first examining that planets

position in the birth chart. If you attempt to make
predictions while merely taking the general meaning of

a planets influence alone, without considering its

dignity, position, and mood or personality (for lack of a
better expression), and its aspects - relationship to

other planets,in the natal chart, your predictions will

fail, or at the very least be a combination of accurate
and inaccurate, which is not the goal of successful

predictive astrology work.. This is the very first thing
to be considered in predictive astrology, the planets

mood or personality in the natal chart of the person for
whom the predictions are being made, which differs

and varies with each individual. without considering

that you will lose all accuracy in your prediction, at
best they will be hit and miss. I personally learned this

lesson the hard way during my 25 years , especially

when I was younger ,learning and practising predictive
astrology, due to the misinformation presented to me

from astrology books and articles. I once believed all
of those lovely things they say about Jupiter, and when

starting out in predictive astrology I always had great
