BWL WINS MILIFE CHAMPIONSHIP

Team BWL won the league title for the 2019 Holiday Session
of the MiLife co-ed basketball league that ran from October through December. The league consists of 8 teams that compete at Gier Community Center in Lansing, and the BWL’s record ended at 6-0-1. BWL won the championship game over the only other undefeated team by a score of 42-40, after having tied them just two weeks prior. This is
the fourth year Team BWL has competed in the MiLife league, and this is their first league championship.

BWL Wins 3rd Consecutive APPA RP3 Award
The Lansing Board of Water & Light received the Diamond RP3 designation on Friday, January 10.
The BWL would have been recognized for achieving RP3 designation during the opening breakfast of the 2020 Engineering & Operations Conference in Kansas City, Missouri on Monday, April 20, however, it was canceled due to COVID-19..
