 Area Tourneys Highlight JV Season
Talented team experiences mixed results in league play
It was a bitter sweet season for the JV Hoopsters. There were some pretty important peaks for the Brothers like the 51-46 win against Nottingham. Everyone on the squad played in the first JV win against the Bull dogs in four years. But there were some low points such as the unnecessary loss to Henninger. It was that game which
characterized 50% of the Brothers’ losses in their 10-8 season. The squad was leading the Black Knights by eleven at half time, but in spite of guard Joe Pullano’s23 |, points, the Brothers threw the game away and lost 67-64. Coach WIeklinski noted: “ We had the talent and exper- j ience, but we couldn’t maintain it consistently.’’ ’
