The sun shone brightly for this year’s J.V. soccer team.
The Brothers ended their season with ten wins and five
losses overall, and an amazing seven wins and only one
loss in league play to capture the CNYCL title.
The Brothers faced some tough opponents in both
jleague and non-league play. The toughest of these non-
jleague opponents was Jamesville Dewitt. With the help of
Iwing Eric Huner, the Brothers were able to defeat their foe
2-1. In league play, Marty Cooke scored two late goals to
, guarantee a 4-2 win over the Black Knights of Henninger.
and Rick Yockell. In the Midfield, there was Marty
Cooke, and Andy Curran, who both had an excellent
season.
This year was a great learning experience for all the
players, and Coach Goldberg sees a bright future for
everyone of them on the varsity level.
