Island Grove Chorus (continued)

Our final performance of December 2023 was the annual Abington holiday concert, with the
Abington Town Choir and Band also performing a selection of their holiday favorites. After that
we went on a nice, restful winter break. We are back now for weekly rehearsals in our hall at the
United Church of Christ in Abington, braving the weather to work on some new songs and old in
preparation for a planned spring fundraising performance. We are still actively recruiting, still
searching for a new director, and making plans to attend the February winter regional. Wishing all
of our singing sisters in Region 1 a happy, healthy, and peaceful New Year!
