. Layer the slices of potato evenly on top of the dough and then
season with salt and pepper and sprinkle with chervil. Top the
potatoes with the caramelized onions and garlic, evenly distribute
the bacon pieces on top of the onions, and finish by layering the
cheese over all.

. Bake the tart for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the edges are deep
golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
