                        brownie trifle, and it was
                                                              CHILLING  TIME:  1  HOUR
              the beginning of this fabulous
                                                           ASSEMBLY  TIME:  10  MINUTES
              recipe in which crumbled brownies
              are layered with chocolate mousse
                                                       CHOCOLATE  MOUSSE:
              and whipped topping. Unlike              1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
              Kathy’s recipe, which uses a choco-      1 cup heavy (whipping) cream

              richness in a big way—Cool Whip. If
                                                       TOPPING:
              you must, go ahead and whip your
                                                       1 container (12 ounces) frozen whipped
              own cream for this layer. You’ll need
                                                           topping, thawed
              about 2 cups.                            1 cup toffee chips or almond brickle chips
