What could be better to take to an adult birthday party than a pretty platter of
Harvey Wallbanger Cupcakes? Harvey was a surfer dude (or so the story goes)
along the southern California coast who drank too many cocktails made of
vodka, orange juice, and Galliano at a local bar, and banged his head on the wall
when leaving. First the drink was named after him, then a cake, and now these
cupcakes. This recipe is a bit different than the Bundt cake variation in my first
book because here I specifically call for fresh orange juice (you will need two to
three large oranges) and fresh orange zest, and the cupcake is covered in a
buttercream frosting flavored with orange juice, zest, and Galliano.
