When Stella Himmelreich was growing up in London, she took a home
economics course to learn how to bake. One day, the teacher taught her class
how to make traditional English butterfly cakes. Now Stella lives in Nashville,
Tennessee, and teaches high school algebra, but she hasn’t forgotten the good
feeling of bringing sponge cake butterflies home to share with her family.
