LEAVING CAMPUS: Staff needing to leave campus during the instructional day due to an
emergency must notify and get approval from an administrator and sign out and back in on the
sign in sheet located in the front office.
Employees requesting a late arrival or early dismissal from work due to extenuating circumstances,
may do so by submitting an Off-Campus Leave Request Form. This leave must be approved by
administration.
KCSD uses Kelly Educational services to contract substitutes. Please see the “Substitutes”
section.

There is no substitute for you!
If a teacher or staff member determines that he/she will be late for work due to unusual
circumstances, he/she should notify the school’s office as soon as possible. An email to
administration with an explanation as to why you were tardy will be required. Three late notices
will necessitate a conference with the administration. The school phone is 843-334-6278 for
