football team worked with middle
school students during their Special
Olympics tennis clinic/competition.
Cowpens Elementary School
Students at Cowpens Elementary
School donated diapers and baby wipes
for Hurricane Harvey relief. Through
this Children Caring for Children
campaign, hundreds of boxes of diapers
and baby wipes were sent to
Texas. WYFF4 Television featured the
campaign during an evening news
segment.
Cowpens Elementary School fourth grader,
Ismale Wilkins, listens intently as Mrs.
Jeter conducts session three of her Intro-
duction to Chromebooks lessons. During
this session, students learned to use
Google Apps Tools to complete a variety of
learning activities.
Drake Long, Sophia Fowler, and
Benjamin Moore, Cowpens Elementary
School kindergarten students selected
prizes they earned for participating in the
Public Library’s Summer Reading
Program. They were among the 72 CES
students who completed the program.
