Broome High School’s Air Force JROTC recently
held its annual Change of Command Ceremony.
Cadet Lt. Col. Trevor Murray relinquished
command of Unit SC-20024 to Cadet Lt. Col.
Beverly Kidwell. Cadet Murray has done an
outstanding job as Group Commander.

Cowpens Elementary School third grader, Kaden Childers,
won a Papa John’s Art Contest by drawing a picture of his
favorite teacher. He and Art Teacher, Shelley Sawyer, will
receive free pizza for a year. In addition, Mrs. Sawyer was
awarded a trophy.

First graders at Cowpens Elementary School
learned about the importance of recycling to help
the environment. They then used discarded
objects to create a Minecraft character and a robot.

The Cowpens Elementary School Cougar Cowpens Elementary School
Morning News Club visited WSPA to learn
about professional broadcasting.

Field Day was a fun time to show off skills and
sportsmanship at Cowpens Elementary
School.
