Broome High School


                                                          As  part  of  their  Cultural  unit  of  study,  Broome
                                                          High  School’s  AP  Human  Geography  class
                                                          welcomed  guest  speaker,  Jeff  High.    He  is  the
                                                          Global      Project     Manager        for    McLanahan
                                                          Corporation  and  travels  to  many  parts  of  the
                                                          world  as  part  of  his  job  to  oversee  the  sale  of
                                                          large  mining  equipment.    Mr.  High  brought  with
                                                          him  a  wealth  of  knowledge  about  many  of  the
                                                          countries  the  AP  class  has  been  studying  such
                                                          as India and South Africa.  He told the students
                                                          about  first  hand  experiences  he  has  had  while
                                                          traveling in these countries and the many cultural
                                                          differences that exist.



      The  Broome  High  School  cheerleaders
      bundled up on Friday night to support the
      Centurion  football  team  in  the  second
      round of play-offs!






































         Lindsay Knox’s AP Spanish class,
         at  Broome  High  School,  recently
         decorated  for  Christmas.  They                  Lisa  Page’s  students  at  Broome  High  School
         painted  ceramic  skulls  as  they                enjoyed a visit from Nao, one of the robots from
         learned  about  the  significance  of             Spartanburg Community College. Not only were
