• This service includes both elective (57%) and urgent (43%) admissions

• Top volumes are derived from Central East followed by TC, and Central LHINs for SMH

• The majority of patients (65%) are discharged home without support services. SMH has 9% of patients
being discharged to a Continuing Care facility*; when patients are discharged to other institutions
Providence is one of the top institutions referred to (13%).
