decreased by less than 1% in Ontario

• SJHC and SMH make up 2% and 6% of

Ontario market share respectively

• As a proportion of inpatient volumes,
Gastroenterology makes up 1% of SJHC
and 2% of SMH activity

• Top volumes are derived from TC LHIN patients; followed by Central and Central East LHINs for SMH,
and Mississauga Halton for SJHC

• The majority (92%) of patients are discharged home with or without services. SJHC has 5% of patients
being discharged to a Continuing Care facility*; SMH has 1%
