• Obstetrics volumes have remained

stable in Ontario; volumes also
remain flat across both sites. Both

SJHC and SMH make up 2% of the
Ontario market share.

• As a proportion of inpatient volumes,
Obstetrics makes up 17% of SJHC
and 12% of SMH activity.

• Top volumes are derived from TC LHIN patients followed by Mississauga Halton and
Central LHIN. 21% of SJHC volumes are from Mississauga Halton LHIN.

• Almost all patients (99%) are discharged home without support. Newborns that are
transferred to other sites are most frequently transferred to Sick Kids.
