• Paediatric volumes have remained

stable in Ontario; volumes have
increased by 8% at SJHC and

decreased by 4% at SMH. SJHC
and SMH make up 1% and close to
0% of the Ontario market share

respectively.

• As a proportion of inpatient volumes,

Paediatrics makes up 5% of SJHC
and 1% of SMH activity.

• Top volumes are derived from TC LHIN patients; followed by Mississauga Halton and

Central LHIN. 14% of SJHC volumes are from the Mississauga Halton LHIN.

• Almost all patients (93%) are discharged home without support.
