A bit about the car
The ARCA OLM (Outlaw Late Model) #591, nicknamed “Roxy” has had a very successful career herself. Last in the hands of Ohio
superstar Drew Charlson, where it so very nearly one the Main Event late model mid west series, it is powered by a monster 700hp
383 Chevrolet, and makes enough noise to wake the dead.
We take great pride in its appearance, and it is always immaculately prepared. Weighing in at the minimum 2800 pounds, these
are superlight weight mean machines, designed to be the fastest full bodied vehicles to ever go around a circle track.
We are entered into the Flat Rock OLM series, at the famed Flat Rock Speedway. Budget permitting, we will also make trips out to
Toledo, Kalamazoo and Auto City Speedway for a guest appearance here and there.
Where we race
Flat Rock Speedway is the jewel in South East Michigan’s crown when it comes to short tracks.
Filling grandstands on most evenings, the racing for the Outlaw LMs takes place on a Saturday
night. It’s a huge family attraction, and the events and friendly and welcoming.
The demographics are mainly gearheads and families that pack the stands to see the thrills and
spills of not only the high speed and loud late model racing, but also other crowd pleasers such as
figure 8 racing, school bus derbys and other stunt shows that are part of the package on race
night.
It’s a very loyal crowd. Knowing how difficult it is to keep short track teams running, the patrons
are known to be very loyal to the series and team sponsors, so that their favourite racer can keep
coming back week after week.
